Dr Constantin Stefanou (BA MA MPhil PhD) is the Director of the Sir William Dale Centre for Legislative Studies and the Director of Taught Programmes at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, School of Advanced Study, University of London.

The Sir William Dale Centre is the oldest academic unit researching and teaching legislative drafting and is the home of the first ever LLM in the field of legislative drafting (LLM in Advanced Legislative Studies).

Dr Stefanou has expertise in legislative drafting as well as European Criminal Law and EU Integration Theory and is the author -amongst others- of C Stefanou, S White and H Xanthaki (2011), OLAF: Fraud and the EU, Hart Publishers, Oxford and C Stefanou & H Xanthaki (2008), Drafting Legislation: A Modern Approach, Ashgate, Aldershot. Dr Stefanou is the course Director for the IALS Professional Legislative Drafting Course, which is tThe oldest professional drafting course – was started by Sir William Dale in 1964.
