Constitutional Law Associate Professor (without tenure) at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Coordinator of the subject “Electoral Systems. Spain and comparative models”, and “Master Final Dissertation” in the Official Master Degree in Parliamentary Law, Elections and Legislative Studies (IDP, UCM, Madrid).
Ph.D. in Law and a BA in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a B.A. in Political Science from the UNED. She has also a M.A. in Constitutional Law and Political Science (CEPC, Madrid). She has been fellow at the Congreso de los Diputados (2000-02).
She has taught differents courses in the University of Buenos Aires, the PUCP (Lima) and the Congress of República Dominicana.
Her research focuses on Electoral systems, representative democracy, preferential vote, parity democracy and electoral reforms at the regional level. She has authored several essays on these topics and a monograph (El ámbito territorial de las elecciones al Congreso de los Diputados en España, Congreso de los Diputados, 2008).
